Tuition scholarships are offered by many schools. While there can be many types of scholarships, including academic, music, sporting and general excellence, most will require students to sit an assessment examination to test for academic ability. Some schools prefer to use their own test, but most opt for one of the following testing services. The websites below list schools, and exam times and dates. The Melbourne Foundation's Scholarship program provides full fee scholarships for Years 9-12 to attend Melbourne Grammar School. These scholarships are awarded to Year 8 males from Victorian public schools, who are unable to cover the full cost of a private school education.
