Minister for Social Inclusion, Mark Butler, has invited budding young film makers to take part in the Volunteering Video Competition for Young People, an initiative aimed at highlighting the benefits of volunteering and telling the story about the enjoyment, fun and social interaction that Australians get from volunteering in their communities.

The competition is open to entrants aged 15 to under 25 years and asks them to create a 30 to 60 second video using the theme, ‘Your passion, Our nation. Volunteer now!’

Entries close 22 July 2012.
